We dream a world where abortion access is a reality for everyone. That's why we're lacing up our bowling shoes and getting to work.
It's time to #FundAbortionBuildPower and have a kickass time doing so! Join or create a team to fundraise for Women’s Medical Fund. We’ll party together at the bowling alley in April for a celebration in Madison or Milwaukee!
For #Bowl18, we are dreaming big as we fund abortion and build power. We are setting bigger goals than ever before - to raise $50,000 - as we fight back against the political tide and work our ways towards a more just and equitable world, in which everyone has access to the abortion they need. The dollars we raise together will directly expand access to abortion across Wisconsin.

It’s a great way for supporters like you to represent Women’s Medical Fund. By using our online fundraising site, you will be able to set up your own personalized fundraising page to benefit WMF. You can then direct your friends and family to support you in reaching your goal or joining your team.
All of your fundraising is done before the event. At the Bowl-a-Thon event in April, you simply show up and have a great time! If you can't attend the event, you can still register to be a "Virtual Fundraiser" or donate to our campaign.
Why Should I Bowl for Abortion Access? Wisconsin has among the most restrictive abortion laws in the nation. Low-income and rural folks are particularly hard hit by these laws. People of color are historically, and currently, prevented from accessing their reproductive options at higher rates than white people, and abortion funds are fighting back. In 2017, WMF helped more than 1,000 Wisconsinites afford the abortion care they needed. By leading your own team or by participating, you'll expand our reach, making a direct impact and a statement about your belief in reproductive justice.
What Do Team Captains Do? Team captains lead the charge by creating a team. They will recruit and lead 4 or 5 bowling buddies for their team. Team captains will also make sure their bowling buddies meet their personal fundraising goals. Captains will be the primary contact for the event. We’ll make it so easy for you!
Sounds Awesome! How Do I Captain a Team? Just register and create a team! Once you register, you can use our online system to send emails to friends and family asking them to support your team by pledging to increase access to abortion.
